Deuces

This term refers to 2 o'clock, either AM or PM; it is the time, twice a day, that all characters' Heart and Will instantly refresh unless prevented by a specific game effect. This occurs even if the character is not in play at the time.

IC

In character, used when discussing all character knowledge and actions that occurred inside the game setting.

OOC

Out Of Character, used when discussing all player knowledge and actions that occur outside of the game setting. Also, the language used to let other players know you are not in character inside game space while wearing a green headband or holding your hand/weapon/whatever against the top of your head.

Mod

A story or combat module performed by NPCs under the guidance of a Hall Monitor

PC

Player Character, portrayed and maintained by one player, who has full control of the character's motivations and interests, etc.

NPC

Non-Player Characters, portrayed by any player as needed, and who operate under the general guidelines of the NPCs writeup, improvising as needed.  These characters make up the world around the PCs and are used as directed by the storytellers.
